Teachers have been crucial in shaping our identities and guiding us to who we are today. Their support, dedication, and expertise have equipped us with the knowledge and skills to navigate life's complexities. Their influence extends beyond individuals, significantly contributing to societal development by creating a more informed world. We must APPRECIATE their contributions and sacrifices, instilling respect for teachers in younger generations and recognizing the value of education. Let's celebrate teachers in this holiday time by acknowledging their dedication to nurturing future minds.

I have been learning Sinhala for a long time and I have had many teachers such as Shani, Thamashi and Dinushi. I would like to thank all of my teachers that have helped me through out my journey of learning Sinhala and I would like to thank you for your help.
Dear Cherisha,
Your thoughtful words truly warm my heart. Teaching your amazing girls has been an absolute joy, and seeing their smiles and hearing them laughter makes every moment worthwhile. I’m so grateful for the love and energy they bring to our time together – it inspires me to keep making our lessons both fun and meaningful.
Thank you for this beautiful message; it means the world to me. I feel so lucky to be your girls’ teacher, and I’m excited for all the learning and laughter we’ll share in the future!
Much love,
Thamashi
Dear Thamashi, You have been teaching the girls for quite a few years now. They truly love spending that time with you. You make the time so enjoyable for them. They are learning while having fun. I hear them laughing so many times throughout each lesson. I wish I had had a teacher like you when I was young. We truly appreciate you and all that you do for them. Much love, Cherisha, Izzy, Sam and Maya
Dear Shani, Thank you for your endless patience and encouragement. It may not always be easy to find time to study, but your lessons have been one of the highlights of my week! Wishing you all the best in 2025!
Dear Miss Diana
Thank you so much for your dedication and passion - we are truly appreciative of your flexible approach (we know we can’t always join classes consistently and that must make things tricky to coordinate) but even having a little flavour of our home country, culture and language for our kids is very important to us; thank you so much for facilitating this, despite the time difference and being so far away!
Best wishes for a happy, healthy and successful 2025
