Afreeda Mohideen

I am Afreeda Mohideen, an enthusiastic and highly qualified Biomedical Science graduate with a First-Class Honors degree from Northumbria University in the U.K. I have also successfully earned a Master's degree in Applied Biological Science from the esteemed Chulabhorn Graduate Institute of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy in Bangkok, Thailand. My academic journey was made possible through the support of a prestigious fully funded scholarship which I obtained in 2019.
With my extensive academic and professional background, I possess a versatile skill set that makes me exceptionally well-suited to serve as an online tutor for subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, or any related science field at Araliya Tutors.

Professional Experience:
I worked as a clinical research coordinator in NHSL, actively participating in phase three clinical trials for various medical conditions contributed to research on Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Stroke, and dengue vaccine trials, collaborated with global sponsors such as Sanofi Pharmaceuticals (France), Takeda Pharmaceuticals (Japan), George Institute of Global Health (Australia), and Merck Pharmaceuticals (USA).

Teaching Experience:
Served as a GCE (International Pearson qualified) Edexcel Advanced Level Biology teacher at Colombo International School (CIS). Whereby I utilized modern teaching techniques to enhance students' critical thinking, interpretation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Current Role: I am currently serving as the Head of the Science Department at Sarasas Ektra School in Thailand. This role has enabled me to further develop my teaching and leadership skills while staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of science education.
