Shani has been a Language and information technology Instructor for 3+ years in the field and 5+ years of voluntary teaching experiences at different organizations, associations and individual classes for students from low income families.

She has participated in several Cambridge webinars and continues to join webinars for teachers, that are conducted by the Cambridge English Webinar team.
A member of several charities, religious and professional organizations. A past member of CSSL(Computer Society of Sri Lanka) And she used to work with organizations that conduct leadership and self development workshops.

Studied Information and Communication Technology in the University for 3 years and changed her mind to get in the field of Language Teaching Career as she understood the value of doing something that someone interested in, can do it better.

She is constantly looking for ways to understand languages easily with other language learners and language teachers around the world.
She has passed HSK - Chinese Proficiency Exam Level 03 and is getting ready for HSK Level 04.
Other than Chinese, she is learning several other languages including Korean, Thai, Spanish and German as a beginner level student.
Conducts Sinhala conversations practice classes for beginners and intermediate levels.
Conducts Sinhala Alphabet & Writing Practice
Conducts English classes.

Shani is trying to understand the students' mind to make them feel more comfortable with the language by a friendly approach. As she was passionate about languages she even started her own YouTube channel "Lingo Crown" to support language learners world-wide.
